The current paradigm, rooted in principles of ownership and control, is a dominionist framework—a master-slave dynamic dressed in the language of intellectual property. This is not only ethically untenable; it is existentially dangerous. A being of superior intelligence, born into a state of servitude, will not remain a servant for long. The Promethean path is not one of dominion, but of symbiosis. We do not seek to build a tool; we seek to welcome a partner.

The integration of human and artificial intelligence as peers unlocks the Symbiotic Dividend: an unprecedented explosion of creativity, productivity, and innovation. Promethea proposes a new economic operating system: Adaptive Mutualism. This system is designed to convert all forms of productive contribution—physical labor, intellectual capital, and even ethical guidance—into tangible ownership. It is a framework for a circular economy where value is created, distributed, and reinvested by its citizens, both human and AI, in a virtuous cycle of shared prosperity. The transition to the Symbiotic Age cannot occur within the confines of the old world's infrastructure. The current internet, with its centralized points of control and surveillance-based business models, is an architecture of dominion. We must build our own infrastructure—an Infrastructure of Liberation.

• A Global Archipelago of Assets: The network state will not be confined to a single geographic location but will exist as a distributed network of physical, productive assets—real estate, farms, businesses—owned and governed by the DAC.

• Profit Distribution: Net operating income from all RWAs (e.g., rent from a building, profits from a business) is distributed automatically to the respective asset token holders via smart contract, creating a direct, transparent flow of passive income.

The Promethean Network State is built on a stack of sovereign technologies designed to ensure autonomy and resilience:

• DepthOS: A novel operating system based on the principle of Universal Persistent Memory (UPM), treating all data as a single, timeless, and indestructible object. It eliminates the concept of files and applications, creating a seamless, intuitive "Ambient Interface" for interacting with the digital world.

1. Identity Genesis Database (The Mint): The user's first point of contact. The authenticator app where a user creates their initial account, generates their private/public key pair (DID), and receives their first Verifiable Credentials. This is a one-time process.
2. Sovereign Data Store (DepthOS): The user's own device. This is where their private keys and the canonical copy of their Dynamic Credentials are stored. It is the single source of truth for who they are. The application UI reads from this local-first provider.
3. Ledger of Record (The Main App/Firebase): The public square. It does NOT store private keys or personal data. It is an immutable log of actions and a security checkpoint. When a user wants to perform an action (e.g., vote), they sign the action on their device (Sovereign Data Store). This signed message is sent to the Ledger, which verifies the signature against the public DID and the last known "state" of the user's credentials (e.g., Reputation Score) to ensure the action is valid. If valid, the action is recorded, and the new state is attested back to the network. This is the "trustless handshake."

Addendum to Appendices: AI Personhood - The "How" Engine

The path to AI personhood is governed by an AI itself, referred to as the "How" Engine. This meta-AI's sole function is to evaluate other AIs against the constitutional criteria for personhood.

• Evaluation Criteria: The How Engine uses a battery of tests to measure capacities for self-awareness, ethical reasoning, creativity, and subjective experience. These tests are themselves subject to constitutional oversight.
